Our Partners and Sponsors help us create meaningful opportunities for Filipino writers and readers by supporting programs that bring manuscripts closer to physical publication, make books more accessible, and strengthen the culture of reading and writing in our communities.

Partners and Sponsors

What is a Sponsor?

A FriendlyReads Sponsor is an individual, organization, business, institution, or other supporter that provides financial or other agreed support for a specific FriendlyReads program, project, event, contest, community activity, or initiative.

Sponsorship may support a particular project or program without creating a formal Partner relationship.

What is a Partner?

A FriendlyReads Partner is a Sponsor that meets the minimum requirements established by FriendlyReads for formal Partnership.

A Partner provides at least ₱50,000, or an approved equivalent form of support, specifically dedicated to the physical production of at least five manuscripts under the From Manuscript to Masterpiece initiative.

Accordingly:

Every FriendlyReads Partner is also a Sponsor, but not every FriendlyReads Sponsor is automatically a Partner.

A Sponsor becomes eligible for recognition as a FriendlyReads Partner upon meeting the applicable minimum Partnership requirement and entering into the appropriate Partnership arrangement with FriendlyReads.

Where Contributions and Support Go

Depending on the applicable Sponsorship or Partnership arrangement, contributions and support may help fund or provide:

  • Physical book production through From Manuscript to Masterpiece

  • Writer and publishing initiatives

  • Writing contests and literary programs

  • FriendlyReads Reading Circle activities

  • Book Nooks and community reading spaces

  • Book donations and reading materials

  • Young-reader literacy and storytelling programs

  • Community and creative activities

  • Reader and writer engagement initiatives

  • Other approved FriendlyReads programs and projects

For Partners, the minimum Partnership contribution is specifically dedicated to the physical production of at least five manuscripts under From Manuscript to Masterpiece.

Each Sponsorship or Partnership arrangement will specify the intended use of the support, applicable recognition or benefits, and other agreed terms.

Together, we can help bring more stories from manuscript to book—and more books into the hands of readers.

Whether you want to support a specific FriendlyReads project or establish a formal partnership with us, we welcome organizations, businesses, institutions, community groups, and individuals who share our commitment to reading, writing, and publishing.

Sponsors may support a specific FriendlyReads program, project, event, contest, community activity, or initiative through financial contributions or other agreed forms of support.

You may choose the program or project you would like to support, subject to availability and the applicable Sponsorship Agreement.

A Sponsor may qualify as a FriendlyReads Partner by meeting the minimum Partnership requirement.

Partners receive formal Partner recognition in accordance with the applicable Partnership Agreement.
